What to Know Before You Go

Back 9 Indoor Golf is an unstaffed facility with two simulator bays. Members can use their mobile phone to enter. See FAQ.
Tee Times are booked either by the Bay (2 hour minimum) or through a Member package.
You can easily track your scheduled times and available hours through our scheduling app. Hours carry over until used.
Since the facility is unstaffed, you must be comfortable using the simulator on your own. The Simulator Software is user friendly, but we do suggest watching this video to learn the basics of setup so you can get swinging within a couple minutes.
Scheduled reservation times are firm so plan to arrive a few minutes early if possible. We recommend looking at our course list and some of the recommended videos here ahead of time so you are ready to play when your reservation starts.
We provide a 5 minute cushion on each side of your reservation time to get set up and gather your gear before leaving.
For events and private tournaments, we can preload all player information to get the action going quicker.
While you may add a player profile in the simulator software, we ask that you not delete any player profile.
We prefer that you don’t wear your outdoor golf shoes. It tracks in dirt, sand, and can tear up the turf. The artificial turf provides plenty of traction in everyday shoes. Any golf shoes that are worn must be without spikes and must be clean of all debris.
The facility is monitored 24/7 by security cameras in each bay and throughout the building.
Staff remotely monitors play periodically and has the ability to communicate through a 2-way speaker as well as remotely control the Bay computers to troubleshoot issues.
All visitors must sign up here and complete a liability waiver before using the facility. This only needs to be signed once.
There is no age limit to play, but players under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The practice facility is loaded with custom options to make every practice session challenging and unique. Turn on group mode and compete with friends or switch to on-course practice on any hole you want.

Local Match

Quickly setup a local match with up to 8 players if you use both bays. Options include stroke play, scramble, match play, alternate shot, best ball, stableford (indiv.) and shamble.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a tee-time?

Whether you are booking a bay directly or booking as an hourly member, the process is the same. First sign-up on our booking site. Next, book a bay or purchase a package. The only difference is when booking as a hourly member, you will use a package code to pay.

Can I track my bookings and remaining available hours on hourly packages?

Yes, you can login to your account and check balances and any upcoming and past bookings. You can also download and use our customized app to manage your account.

How do I access the facility?

We use Axis door controller, access point and mobile credentials. If you book a bay directly or purchase an hourly membership, you will receive an email with an Axis App link for Google or Apple and code to activate your credentials. Your credentials will allow you to enter by waiving your hand in front of the access point as long as you have your phone and Bluetooth is turned on.

Do I have to bring my own golf clubs?

Yes. We may rent clubs in the future but do not currently. Please ensure your club faces are clean before using them in the Bay to avoid transferring dirt or debris onto the screen.

Do I use my own golf balls?

Yes. Please only use clean golf balls and do not use balls with any player markings on them to prevent those markings being transferred to the white screen.

Do you require any special type of balls or club markers to be able to play or get club and ball data?

No. We selected golf simulators that do not require anything special to obtain accurate data.

How accurate is the ball data produced by the golf simulator?

Our simulators provide extremely accurate ball data and club data can be instantly confirmed by the real time video of the club impacting the ball.

Does putting work normally and can I add and adjust a “gimmie” circle to speed up play?

Our simulators work well with putting and we installed a high performance turf on our putting area that is designed to react closely to a natural green surface. You can easily turn on/off and adjust a gimmie circle through the game options menu.

How large are the hitting bays?

Our bays are 16′ wide by at least 20′ deep and 11′ high. Our member bay is slightly deeper. There is plenty of room for both right and left handed players to swing safely.

Should I be concerned about being hit by a ball or club?

There are inherent risks any time someone is swinging a club and the ball is traveling over 100 mph, but indoor golf is safer compared to playing golf outdoors. The simulator bays were designed to reduce the risk of injury for those at least 7 feet behind the hitting area. There are several safety measures including an enclosed hitting area with padding and net protection to absorb stray shots, commercial grade hitting screens that absorb impact, and a generous space behind the hitting area for others to watch or wait.

How does the shared membership work?

The 15 hour package can be purchase individually or as a shared package. If purchasing as a shared package and you want to pay separately, you will select the $140 Shared Membership Package on the booking page or mobile app. If buying for yourself or want to pay for both members, select $280 Shared Membership. If you pay separately, both members will receive a package with 4 90-minute and 2 45-minute bookings. If paying for the entire 15 hour package, you will receive a package for 8 90-minute bookings and 4 45-minute bookings.

How many bookings can I have active at any time?

Members can schedule up to 4 bookings per day and have 6 active bookings. Membership hours don’t expire and no refunds are issued for unused hours.

What is your reschedule/cancel policy?

We ask that you reschedule or cancel within 24 hours of your booking.
